PRIVATE COOKERY CLASSES

I offer private teaching either online via Zoom, in your home / venue or my Surrey kitchen. From sourdough to plant-based dinners and everyday baking to vegan desserts, I will can put together a class suited to your needs, lifestyle and skill level to make dishes that you will love, with recipes you can take away and replicate yourself!

Let me liberate you from kitchen-related terror through a simple intuitive approach to cooking, with a focus on approachable, flavourful food that suits you.

 

“Taking a private cooking workshop with Sal is one of the best ways to spend your day. My friend and I wanted to learn how to make easy, vegan dishes that do not require a lot of effort or time, as we are both expecting our first babies and know we will need those cooking skills for once our babies arrive. 

Sal's workshop was not just a typical cooking class where you are handed a recipe filled with ingredients you've never heard of or don't know how to use. We started by shopping together at a local produce store and chose ingredients that were in season, or that spoke to us and seemed interesting and that we wanted to create dishes around. Sal then guided us through a new way of thinking about food intuitively, how to pair ingredients with various flavours naturally, and how to season by taste and smell. At the end of the day I felt like I fell back in love with food and flavours again, and felt so much less intimidated by cooking. I have already cooked some of the dishes we made and barely had to reference the notes Sal gave us, because I now know how to cook intuitively!
